Congratulations on the birth of your new granddaughter. This is an exciting time for you, also you must have been terribly worried. Now you can look forward to and enjoy your first meeting with Maisie Juliet. flowers

Many thanks to everyone who took the trouble to respond to my good news and congratulate us on the birth of Maisie. It was lovely to share our good news with you all especially as we have not been able to see her yet because of hospital policy. They are to remain in hospital for a while mainly for "Mum's" sake. She had severe ME as a teenager and although seeming to be fully recovered ,I think the trauma and the C-section have taken their toll.

My best wishes go to all of you expecting a new grandchild in the next few months .I look forward to hearing all about it in due course.

Congratulations Gorki We are on standby as DIL is expecting her second on 24th May. Her first was four weeks premature but she seems to be hanging on to this one. Glad to hear your GD is now doing well.

My DD2 informed me about 3 weeks ago, that she is expecting her third child!! Surprised me as she had to have C sections with the other two and even those weren't easy for her. Lots of drama.

They have decided to find out what they are having this time as they have a girl and a boy already. She said at least she will be able to sort through the appropriate baby clothes before the new one arrives!!

Needless to say, DGD wants a sister! DGS is only 16mths so has no idea what is coming in December!!

Our new granddaughter arrived on Monday after a very difficult and traumatic birth. It was touch and go at one point but the re-sus team were magnificent and she seems to be doing well now. She is to be called Maisie Juliet. Maisie after her great-nan and Juliet because the family are all lovers of Shakespeare: her Mum is Jessica and her aunt is Rosalind.
