Was raining. Now sunny with a bit of cloud. Very windy though. Just been watching a yacht going down the channel under power. It's going up and down a lot. Does not look very pleasant.
It's what I would regard as a pub lunch in the harbour day.

Good afternoon to you all. It is a grey day in bonnie Kintyre. The islands of the inner Hebrides are cloaked in mist. A day for snuggling down to watch the semi-final snooker matches. brew cupcake and, at six sharp - wine

Lunchtime in Northumberland and it is lovely here (gosh, I don't often say that - I gave up wearing sleeveless dresses when I came here). I have been out in the garden with DH - he is cleaning the greenhouse and I have been removing the weeds and dirt from between the pavers on the patio. It is very hard work and has involved me sitting down a lot, but I have now done a good percentage of it. Next step - sweeping up all the bits of soil and putting down new sand in the cracks. However, we think we will go out this afternoon and ENJOY the good weather!

DD, her husband and DGS are coming for lunch tomorrow and the forecast is still good, so, who knows, miracles might happen and we might be able to eat outside. No, don't think so - can't see that happening.

Grey and rainy outside here in North Leics.

Inside, the atmosphere was hotting up as DH and DS1 have just gone to the last football game of the season. Forest are playing Leicester, for a place in the Championship playoffs (if various other people lose by specified goal differences confused) so later on we could have sunshine or showers regardless of the weather.

Wish me luck!! grin

It looks sunny out and then every time I stick my nose out of the back door its raining again. Very frequent but light showers!

Good morning it's a dull and wet start to the day here in Cheshire. Nothing planned for the weekend so far so may just catch up with jobs around the house.

Enjoy your visit to your granddaughter Gorki

Good morning all, back from our four day break on the Isle of Wight - Warners (expensive but worth it). This was our third attempt at this holiday, illness prevented the other two bookings taking place, so we breathed a sigh of relief when we actually arrived! Can't believe that we had five days of wall to wall blue skies and sparkling sea. What a difference the sun makes. Bit misty here in Bognor, but it looks promising.

gillybob Sat 04-May-13 08:50:08

Might have to have a quick re-think on our weekend as weather forecast not too good. Promised daughter that we would "sort" her very unruly/neglected (but thankfully small) garden out on Sunday.

vegasmags Sat 04-May-13 08:38:41

Grey and showery in Manc but the forecast for the weekend looks promising, so fingers crossed.

Good morning folks - we are now in Cardiff which was lovely and sunny yesterday but today we are back to wet Wales!! Actually now ceased raining but looking very grey and dull. Our drive up to the north of France was done in heavy rain on Thursday but Friday was sunny. This time we went to Le Havre and once again we were enchanted by the lovely houses everywhere in Normandy.

Hope all those planning Barbies have a great time.

Aka Sat 04-May-13 08:22:23
