Thank you Sbagran, I am still feeling like an idiot!!

That is a super idea .... though it feels awkward to ask someone to go to any trouble.

Oh how easy that is inthefields I am only sorry that I am the opposite side of the country from Norfolk so cannot help.
However I have thought of another way around it - if there is a gransnetter in the area where your bought items are located perhaps they would be prepared to collect the items and box them up for you?
Being baby toys they can't be that fragile so could all be piled into a cardboard box and sealed securely with parcel tape surely? There is a courier firm (PM me for the name if needed) who you can pay from your end. They then email a prepaid address label to the person and then will collect the sealed and labelled box for you.
Is there a local Gransnet in the Norfolk area?
I really feel it is a bit harsh of the seller not to have sympathy over your situation. I love my Ebaying (in fact I am addicted!) and I am sure I would have boxed them up and let you arrange a courier but I suppose we don't know the seller's circumstances hmm
I really hope someone comes up with a solution for you - good luck flowers

Hi!
Due to complete stupidity on my part , I am need of some help and wondered if the amazing Gransnet may be able to assist?

Do you either live in the Kings Lynn neck of the woods, and plan to travel to anywhere in the area south of Reading/north of Exeter ....in the coming days? (or equally, live in that band of the UK and are travelling to Norfolk?)
Would you consider collecting something, and letting me pick it up from you at a place of your choice.

Let me explain .... this morning, as a 5* ebay user for several years, I made the first error ever and read Free P&P on a list for a sale which was only free P&P because it was collection only (my fault .... I did not scroll far enough down). I emailed the seller immediately I realised and explained, asking if he could cancel. By the time he got back to me saying he could not post, and I had to re-email to say did that mean he had cancelled my bid or not, and then he emailed back to say was that what I wanted ........well, just as I was replying (yes!!! "duh"), the bid-time expired!!

So, I am now the proud owner of a quantity of baby toys located in Norfolk, which I cannot possibly get to from here in Somerset. I could arrange for a courier, but he has indicated is not happy to package sufficiently well to ensure the whole lot don't fall out in transit sad

If anyone happens to be travelling the route, I am happy to drive for at least 90 minutes to collect ..... neutral pickup location of your choice ..... I am just looking to sort out the mistake in the fastest way possible.

If you could be a rescuing angel, please do PM me .... or post below if you want me to PM you first.

In hope ...

Please note, a small baby ride-on is part of the bundle, so please do be aware that some boot (or back seat) space would be needed
