I have always liked this thread, so here I am resurrecting it!

Today I have mainly been eating, drinking and sleeping, then eating....

Such decadence! Lunchtime drinks at the Yacht club, watching the gaffer (DGD explained what it meant) racing and the sun glinting on the water, then home for a bite, then a snooze...what a life. How lovely today was.

Galen flowers and sunshine
Can't you cut back a bit and relax more?

Galen Thu 25-Jul-13 21:00:56

I'm on holiday again in about 6-7 weeks time. It's just that I've done 4days work on the trot this week. I don't normally do that. I'm only doing 3 next week. They did ring me today to ask if I'd do another one , but I said no! Part of the trouble is that for each day there is a big pile of papers to read (unpaid) beforehand!
If you don't believe the size of them ask the Bristol Babes, they saw themgrin

Ella46 Thu 25-Jul-13 21:03:09

Is Mike from Bristol included in that title? grin

Galen Thu 25-Jul-13 21:04:42

Galen Thu 25-Jul-13 21:05:36

Galen Thu 25-Jul-13 21:08:01

Do you think he'd prefer to be a Bristol buster?

Stansgran Thu 25-Jul-13 21:28:42

It will definitely start raining as I've just bought a garden parasol . Dug the last one out of the potting shed an elegant and trendy and horridly expensive one only to find something or things had used it as winter fodder. The new one is half price from Asda so I won't care. New phone stopped working and can't buy a frame for an embroidery or a light pull. Too hot to go into any more shops.

Today I have been singing and enjoying poetry group - how blooming civilized! Don't ever let anyone tell you that there is no culture in deepest rural Britain.

Today I had my last one at CAB. Not many clients which was just as well as there were only two advisers and a trainee. I won't miss that new computer software or the new benefits systems as they come on stream.

j08 Thu 25-Jul-13 21:47:28
