Good morning and another lovely morning here in Bognor. What a difference the sun makes - think I have said that before - have a lovely day everyon.

Looks set for another lovely day here in Leicestershire but rain is forecast for the rest of the week.

Going to plant up my new herb bed and go to see Mum's doctors for a progress report.

A hazy mild morning here with filtered sunshine. Washing out on the line by 0730. DD off to school in her shirt sleeves. (Mild here is 7° overnight and 11° as she set off. #stillbonkers)

Lovely to wake to blue skies. Been away for the weekend so I have lots of jobs to catch up on, but I think I'll just have a relaxing day enjoying the good weather.

Just returning home to find nine or ten cows have escaped fom the field and were looking a bit non-plussed about what to do next. 20 yards to the main road, or head down the lane into the park. Not a soul around. I ran (me, ran?) in and dialed 999 and more cars turned up than arrived for the escaped prisoners on the motorway! Nice cup of tea and a sit down, I think

It's all go for you then, when! Reminds me of the time - years ago - when we turned the corner into our little cul de sac and saw an enormous pig coming towards us! No, it wasn't flying.
