Good morning Mick, it is a fairly pleasant morning here too.

Walking weather

Lovely morning here too, will take a walk along the front before the other half sits himself down to watch the Grand Prix. (Noise!) As suspected, I ache all over after yesterdays bowls (I lost) and the trip to Amberley, all good though.

Sunny but not very warm. Housework, mowing and more seed planting here. How are your weeds Tegan?

Can see enough blue sky to make a pair of sailors trousers so there is hope that DH will go to the footie with out too much grumbling.emailed all the relevant family with flight times but not even a thank you or the teensiest acknowledgement .*.I will make brunch then I intend to sew my quilt and become calm serene and the person I want to be.
* why is it £400 to fly from Newcastle to Paris with flybe but £70 from Leeds to Paris with jet2 .time they forgot about the extra runway at Heathrow and did more for Newcastle . Rant over. zen moments will return.

Desperate to get at the convolvulus which is threatening the raspberries and blackcurrants. Any suggestions gratefully received, can't/won't spray so its a hands and knees job... ouch!

Chilly and grey here in Manchester - not currently raining though. DD making flying visit from London tonight as she has a meeting here tomorrow, so looking forward to seeing her.
