I haven't looked out yet, but it feels a bit gloomy, so probably is. I am staying with DD3 who has gone to work and the children are at their nursery so I am taking advantage of the quiet to be lazy before setting-to on the washing and hoovering - if I can locate the carpet under the piles of detritus shock After a fairly full on weekend in Sussex with 2DD's, 2SiL's and 4 GC's, 3 and under, I feel as if I have been pinned down by a steam roller. Strange - at home I yearn for company and things to fill my day, but when it happens, I want to be at home in the peace and quiet. The late Mr G always said I was never satisfied - perhaps he was right!!

Lovely and sunny in Cheshire albeit a bit blustery. Hope it lasts.

Morning, miserable and cold and a sink full of washing up. The only brightness in my gloomy kitchen is the beautiful Geranium which has suddenly sprung into life on my windowsill. Must have 9 blooms on it, a wonderful pale pink with darker pink stripes.

Morning - we have woken up to rain in Cardiff- was very changeable yesterday. DD saw a weather report last evening that said parts of UK might get snow again! Hope someone sees lovely sunshine today.

'Morning, quite pleasant here too, not sure about the breeze, have not ventured out yet. Rain promised for this afternoon. Off to see if I can get a quick game of bowls in before that. Enjoy your day.
