True Bags, I also feel it is something we should see as a natural progression. Part of living is to accept that we will die. Hopefully we will live a full and happy life before but, it will happen and is not somthing we should fear or fight some sort of war against. My mother had bowel cancer and when she realised only nasty and probably usefless treatment and surgery would help he live a few months longer she accepted what was going to happen. We did not, at first, but once we realised it was her wish to go with dignity and at her pace we could slowly begin to accept, mourn and bless her for being our Mother.
