My GC are not the culprits this time, I caught mine from DD and SIL.

I've got to make strawberry icecream for DGD tomorrow, made with cheddar strawberries and double cream! (Don't tell Glass as I will have to taste it to check its eatable!)grin

I have lost the will to live after the last two days tribunals.
But I feel slim compared with one lady who had a BMI of 84.

Gally Thu 16-May-13 22:08:40

Mishap sad. I too have lost the ability to breathe. Thanks too, to my two grandsons and the copious amount of wet stuff appearing from orifices various. I am peripatetic this week - not conducive to treating the sniffles. Sharing with GS3 tonight and GD2 tomorrow so could well end up with chicken pox which is on the go as well. Who'd be a Granny?

Mishap Thu 16-May-13 21:12:52

Woke up with a bit of a sniffle and now cannot breathe at all and have a temperature. Bed calls - and a lie-in tomorrow I think! Thank you dear grandsons for this gift!!

It is absolutely GORGEOUS in Kintyre. sunshine

numberplease Thu 16-May-13 15:46:54

It started off beautifully sunny and very warm today, but it has clouded over now, still warm though. Just been out to the ice cream van for 3 99s.

Sook Thu 16-May-13 11:19:59

Good morning everyone smile. It's chilly in my corner of Cheshire but fairly bright at the moment, rain forecast for this afternoon. Enjoy your day.

soop Thu 16-May-13 10:48:28

So far, the Kintyre weather is favourable, although a stiff breeze is beginning to ruffle the waves. It certainly is a worrying time for the birds. We also continue to feed them, 'though we have stopped putting out the fat ball.

Little bits of blue sky but mostly grey, overcast and chilly here in Manchester. I've read moomin that it's been a terrible spring for the birds. I continue to feed the garden birds in the hope that helps a bit.

moomin Thu 16-May-13 08:44:39

Sunshine in the NE right now, and calmer - no wind yet! Found a dead robin fledgling out in the open in the garden, cold and wet sad there are a further 2 hiding away in the bushes and being fed by their parents, hope they make it

Grannylin Thu 16-May-13 08:39:08

Woke up to frost ...in May!Sunny and blue sky but ccccold.

Bez Thu 16-May-13 08:34:03

Good morning - sunny so far here in Cardiff too - and by the look of it the nasty wind has dropped but I am only going by the fact the trees look fairly still and calm. Did manage to get washing dry outside too yesterday. Hope everyone has a sunny day for once.

PRINTMISS Thu 16-May-13 07:55:04

Perfect morning here, even the wind has dropped, so off for a roll up at bowls. Have a lovely day everyone.
