With only 218 days to Christmas someone or other had better start saving their coppers if I am to get a new motorbike this year.

What kind are you after? I passed my motorbike test years ago when I was at college. It's still there on my driving licence. What horrifies me is I've never driven one in 40+ years yet I'm still legally entitled to hmm

My neighbour bought a new bike when he was 62, I think I have only seen him on it a couple of times but has informed DH that he is selling it as the roads are just too dangerous now.
I have to agree, there are several serious bike accidents every week in this area and on Friday there was a double fatality on a good stretch of road.
