I'm really looking forward to........

Meeting my niece and nephew for the first time in 25+ years !
DD has been chatting to them on FB. She has never met them. Their mum is DH sister. She has not been in contact with any of the family in all this time. She will not discuss her reasons why with her children.
We have always felt sad for them as their father has no family. So there's only ever been them and their mum n dad.
Hopefully they are coming Bank Holiday, niece is bringing her two children one of whom is the same age as DGS . Perhaps we can get DH other sister to come too.
DD says she has a dissfunctional family grin

Mind you! I can't quite see why it should be dysfunctional when we use disability or disaffected etc etc! What a quirky language we use.

How very exciting for you all, there will be a huge amount of catching up to do. Be sure to search through your photograph store before they arrive and enjoy every moment.

It's lovely when family gatherings like this happen. Have a great time. I'm sure you will find lots to talk about and lots of cups of tea to be made brew.
