Shame I can't make that day. How about you all wear a buttonhole of the same colour. Red carnation??

Oh that is a shame petra, would have loved to have seen you there. Maybe next time? Have a great holiday x

Oh bugger. This would have been my first 'meet up' and I'll be on holiday!

That is brilliant Lindy and it will be lovely to meet your grandson. I have wondered about how best to recognise each other. Any ideas would be appreciated x

Yes please, I have responded on the other thread we started last week. How will we recognise each other? Any ideas, I will have my 3 year old Grandson Daniel with me - hope this is ok?

Thread title made me think of a possible line from a Shakespeare play - "*When shall Kent and Essex meet, my liege?*" grin

I am trying to arrange a meet up at Bluewater on Wednesday 5th June, but not getting much response, so am trying to spread the word by referring to it on this thread. If you are able to get to Bluewater (I chose there as it is good for both Kent and Essex folk, and has many buses going from different places) please please go to the "Meet ups" thread for information and let me know if you can make it. It would be great to have a good chat with people over a cuppa xx
