Can I admit to something and admit that Carol Klein irritates me? It's the way she talks and grins at the same time. Is it just me? I feel a bit bad about it cause she's really nice sad. I just want her to look a bit grumpy sometimes...

Me too! grin

Galen Wed 22-May-13 20:22:22

wink

j08 Wed 22-May-13 18:32:28

I just wear whatever I have on when the gardening urge strikes. It does make for quite a lot of washing.

I am not a gnome Mrs Ana!!! I am a rose. With the odd prickle. smile

Galen Wed 22-May-13 18:08:04

If I was a plant ,it's obvious I'd be a shy retiring violetgrin

merlotgran Wed 22-May-13 18:04:03

She looks trendy but I wouldn't want to be lugging that lot around with me.

I have just bought some gardening CROCS (recommended by a GNetter)
They are brilliant!

Mamie Wed 22-May-13 17:38:22

Joggy bottoms or shorts. Last year's M and S £5 t-shirts. Ancient fleece. Gardening gloves with hole in middle finger of right hand (unless bought in last three weeks). Gardening clogs.

merlotgran Wed 22-May-13 17:30:01

what do you wear in the garden?

I go for the tatty old jumper and jeans look blush

Some people must be made of money!

Have just sorted a Lilac for my garden. I love the fact that it will (in afew years time) give a mad blousy show for a couple of weeks and then go to sleep for the rest of the year. I do like seasonal things.....hate the 'dead' looking evergreens that just go on the same all year. Its why I love peonies, stocks, delphiniums etc. Similarly do not like orchids...as they look so perfect and artificial.

Ana Wed 22-May-13 14:31:18

Garden gnome...? grin

#sorrycouldntresist!

LullyDully Wed 22-May-13 14:14:21

Perhaps we need a Gransnet garden next year, full of big showy coloured flowers.I would like to be a pink flowering chestnut tree! How about you JO?

j08 Wed 22-May-13 13:59:12

Harry's garden

Shade loving?

j08 Wed 22-May-13 13:57:46

nice pic of Harry welcoming dad and stepmum to view his garden

j08 Wed 22-May-13 13:56:29

this is my favourite

The other gardens all seem very green with not much colour.
