did he land safely?smile x

Will have landed on all fours, I'm sure. You wouldn't get Rory attempting such a tricky manoeuvre. He'd have belly-flopped for sure. grin

No! I shouldn't laugh but I did.

I once saw our cat jump from a wall over six foot high out and upwards to a metal bar 2 to3ins wide at the most. This was part of the frame supporting the fire escape ladder which went up to our third floor flat.

There was a large cat he did not like, sitting at the bottom.

I could see Frank (Our cat) eying up the jump, preparing to go for it in that wiggly cat bottom way they do. I was terrified but did not want to put him off his aim.

He made it onto the bar! Walked round the side very nonchalantly and trotted up the steps. I think we both lost a life there.

Our Mia turned over on the settee the other night, and rolled off. She picked herself up, looked at us as if to say "you didn`t see that, did you?" and strolled calmly away!

Thanks jO, DH has just come in from the other end of the garden because I laughed so loud. Then he said that I have a sick sense of humour. grin
