Frank do please come and drive through my local small town which is in the process of having a bypass built through it confused and it's middle pedestrianised - then count your blessings!

There are pedestrianized streets and town centres everywhere. Most of them are permanently closed to traffic. Bristol close a few streets for a day. Get over it.

I hope they are going to refund my car tax for the day.
I wanted to go and drive down Corn Street Bristol yesterday.
As a result I decided not to go to Bristol.
