Good morning. Pleasant warm morning here so far, but I suspect it's midgy outside.

Lovely day here in West London have put my washing out and I am off to my health club to do 20 lengths in the pool. Hope it stays like this and then I can put another load of washing out and make up for all those dreary days when it has been hanging around the house.

Good morning everyone, lovely here too, what a difference it makes. Lets make the most of it and enjoy the day

Sun is shining here..maybe I should get up and tackle the brambles squeezing under the fence at the back of my new herbaceous border..if only they were sneaking in by the fruit bushes!

Grey here, again. I'm fed up with this continual greyness...

Good morning, by the way...

Good morning, it's dull here, but forecast to brighten up later.
It did yesterday, late afternoon was glorious. sunshine

Really dull and grey here in Inverness-shire, I would love to see some sun today. Late afternoon we also had a bit of sun, but it disappeared as quick as it came. Oh yes, Good morning everyone sunshine

thistledoo, I've just 'said' your forum name 'out loud' in my head with a soft 'th'! grin

Bags Wed 26-Jun-13 09:47:19

Voiced 'th', I should say. Love it.

Sunny intervals here in Manc, but warm and pleasantly breezy. Now to cut the grass.

Warm in Boston, but sun has disappeared and rather cloudy now.

Thistledoo Wed 26-Jun-13 16:03:33

Not sure what you meant, BAGS and SOOP, saying my forum name with a soft th, when I dreamed it up I was at a loss at what to call myself, when I came up with [this will do] which turned into the Scottish thistle with a dooooo. grin xx

Greatnan Wed 26-Jun-13 16:29:30

Thistledoo was a Liverpool docker, who was known, in the days before containers, to 'find' the odd bit of cargo and say 'Thistledoforourkid'.

Bags Wed 26-Jun-13 18:23:03

I meant exactly that, thistle – "this'll do". Clever smile

Bags Wed 26-Jun-13 18:23:36

greatnan grin

Thistledoo Wed 26-Jun-13 19:09:05

Didn't know about the Liverpool docker, thought I was just a bit of a clever clogs to think up a funny name with a double meaning. That's my bubble well and truly burst Greatnan. shock Do we need to start a new thread about names.....!

Greatnan Wed 26-Jun-13 19:24:39

Sorry - I like your name! smile

feetlebaum Wed 26-Jun-13 19:24:59

He sounds like Diesel - ol' Diesel used to go around the cargo saying "Diesel do for the Missus, and diesel do for the kids..."

Thistledoo Wed 26-Jun-13 19:47:48

Feetlebaum that's so funny, someone could use that name Dieseldoo!! I would like to know how everyone thought up their names. Thank you Greatnan glad you like my name, think yours is cool too. x
