Some nutter of a motorist was doing wheel spins at the back of my car so I turned left as I thought he may go in to the back of my car.
I went round the square and came out on the same road.
About 2 minutes later I saw he had driven in to the back of an unmarked police car. grin

I just hope he is insured so the tax payer does not have to pay for the damage to the police car.

My son, his wife and baby son, were driving home on Sunday. A man did such a dangerous overtake, that they thought they were going to be killed. They were lucky to avoid a crash. They followed the man and he pulled into a restaurant carpark. My DIL ( a teacher) stormed in and ordered the man to come outside. She opened the car door and said "this is my little baby who you nearly killed". The man was very apologetic and tried to hug my DIL. She wasn't having it, and tore him off a strip. Later she felt bad, but I say, maybe the man will be much more careful in future.

Mnay years ago when our son was about a year old we had a similar experience, in our case someone turned out in front of us and Dh had to swerve onto the verge to avoid him, thankfully it was a wide grass verge and a filed hedge. DH drove after him and we took his number.

We reported him to the police who took statements and said while a charge would be unlikely a police man would be visiting the driver at home to say he had been reported.

I am just glad he went in to a police car rather than injure somebody or go in to the back of my car.
The unfortunate thing was the police car is 13 registration.

How so all these things seem to happen to you hunterf , you did not let me know about your charge from the IRS, probably slipped your mind.

The blue and red lights were lit and the sign was on which said police.

Frank

Elegran Thu 27-Jun-13 23:12:31

fIt wasn't exactly unmarked then, Frank, was it?

HUNTERF Thu 27-Jun-13 23:19:40

Elegran

You can only see the police sign when it is lit up so I think it is classed as unmarked.
