Good Morning Everyone,
A wet and muggy start here in Brackley.

Similar in London with a bit of a wind. Still it will not affect the centre court tennis today, Laura and later Andy, cannot wait.

It's peeing down here in Cheshire, a really good day to be a tennis couch potato grin

soop Fri 28-Jun-13 11:30:00

Ella grin
A damp good morning from bonnie Kintyre. Sat in bed and noted that the colours of the bird cherry tree's trunk looked particularly beautiful. Took several pics. Will upload one later.
Come on, Andy.
Come on, Laura.

Yes, Ella. I was going to walk down to the shops, but decided they would still be there tomorrow and at the moment I don't really need the sandal I left at the cobbler's.

Typical - chucking it down!!! But it is easing and the forecast for the weekend is good. We are off to Blackwood Forest with DD, SIL and DGC for the weekend. Anyone had exerience of Forest Holidays? It looks pleasantly like the antithesis of roughing it!grin

About to upload photos taken through the window...the bird cherry tree and misty scene as ferry passes the island of Jura. smile

We took our visiting friend back to the railway station in the pouring rain this morning - and it has hardly stopped coming down since. I suppose it gives the right feel to the day - we are going to the dentist this afternoon!

Thistledoo Fri 28-Jun-13 13:29:21

Soop where do I find your picture? Rain most of the morning but hey ho the sun is now shining, whoopeeeee. Cant miss the tennis though, so I'll open all the windows. sunshine

One of the Selkirk Common Riding songs - "For it's there the bonnie lassie lives, the lassie I looe best..." Followed by a wonderful "rum tum tiddley I tie" interlude which erupts spontaneously as the procession moves down The Green towards the fording of the Ettrick!
Sweet nostalgia!

Lovely pics soop (as usual!). Still tipping down here in Northumberland, will I ever get out for a walk with the hound?

Sook Fri 28-Jun-13 14:48:27

Ella very soggy doggies this morning and a rather damp sook. Thankfully the rain has stopped and it feels slightly warmer with a bit of a breeze.

gracesmum enjoy your weekend sunshine

I am just going to knit socks and enjoy the tennis.

We've had quite a good day so far here in Plymouth, just clouding over now.

NfkDumpling Fri 28-Jun-13 15:02:20

Rain reached here at lunchtime so we had time to explore the sculpture trail at Blickling Hall before it started. Pretend ordered three or four pieces - nowhere to put them anyway!

soop Fri 28-Jun-13 16:18:11

Thistledoo If you go to my name and click, you should be able to have a wee look. smile

Damp here and very muggy - feeling sorry for myself today, back painful after my fall last week but my arm in the sling (not painful) gets all the sympathy. Not used to being unable to do things with both hands, and having to sit down gingerly, so a bit of a grumpy old woman at the moment. Probably nothing new in that.

NfkDumpling Fri 28-Jun-13 16:21:50

Your pictures are very lovely soop.
