The Prime Minister just tweeted this:

It's been a privilege talking to the men and women serving Britain in Helmand on Armed Forces Day pic.twitter.com/xEEufyLwzD
View photo looks like they are really enjoying it

I just got this joke off of Twitter:

Why does lettuce send people to sleep?

Cos.

I can't 'do' Twitter. I've tried but I still have no idea how it works. Facebook is great for keeping in touch with the family.

You have to find the right people to follow. Then it can be very interesting. And even enlightening. smile

I did the same feetle and I'm no wiser either. It just seems inane (without the banter)

I finally caved in and signed on to Twitter about a month back... I check regularly several times a day. I still don't get it...

As much as I complain about it I would find life difficult without the Internet. I use it all the time for so many things... Never tried or been tempted by twitter ...

I have never got to grips with Twitter - I go and have another foray on the site from time to time and still none the wiser!confused

They said on the radio that Twitter is more addictive than cigArette smoking. I reckon GN is more so.

is that it is so seductive. I just looked up the weather forecast for my area and found a link to strange burial grounds and bizarre beaches. Every time anybody posts a link to Youtube, I get sucked in to looking at cute animals and laughing babies. If I see a link to a newspaper article I end up reading the whole paper on line.
I heard on the radio this morning that more information is posted on Youtube in a day than the whole of the BBC's output since it began broadcasting.
Good job I have nothing else to do but read - weather is too bad for a walk.
