Good Morning Saturday

A beautiful day in prospect here, too. A little gentle gardening today I think!

Good morning everyone - lovely day here too. All jobs will need to be done this morning before the heat really strikes.

It was too sunny to stay in bed. What a pleasant time we're having. I've had a cup of tea in the garden, listening to the birds, got some washing on, and will do a bit of pruning and weeding before it gets too warm. Then, at lunchtime, I'll put a cool fan on and settle down to watch Wimbledon. Lovely!

Glorious here too. I've walked my hounds, chatted to some of my neighbours. Enjoy your day

Good evening Saturday here. Rained this morning, brightened up this afternoon, then as soon as we headed for the shops it rained and the ranges were covered with thick grey cloud. Happily, it was all bright and breezy half an hour later when we emerged from the shopping mall and I had to take off my jacket on the walk home. Right now, the lasagne is in the oven, the table is laid and Mr absent is watching Jamie Oliver - I shall suffer for that later when he starts telling me how to cook!

Good morning all , crikey bobs , Mr N is very busy out on the patio , sweeping , getting Summer garden furniture out !

Oh yes , I remember the rugby is on in a while , so one could say the early bird catches the worm .

Very warm and sunny all day here, not done much, just a quick trip to the shop, and one load of washing in.

We have had 30 deg this afternoon in the shade - a tad too hot!

A perfect day here, sunny, but not too hot for walking. The grass and wild flowers are almost waist high in places. Lovely to be able to walk without a jacket or cardigan.

Too hot to work in the garden this afternoon so we went to a riverside pub for a late lunch as they have a music festival on this weekend. Spent a lovely couple of hours listening to a Django Reinhardt style jazz band in the garden.
