Frank, please tell how you know that about forty cars were "pulled in".

Does it work by magnetism?

They were using an ANPR camara so I would have thought they would only pull over cars showing things like no insurance possible disqualified driver etc.
That said I was pulled over about an hour after I collected a new car.
The ANPR camera said the car was not insured, the police phoned the company and they confirmed it was.
The police said that was fine but I could be stopped again as the database might not be updated till the next working day.
I was followed in the afternoon by an ANPR police car and I was not stopped.

Is there just the slightest touch of schadenfreude in your posts from time to time HUNTERF?

Frank I think you are randomly chosen. I would imagine that the majority of these cars were legal.

The police were doing an ANPR check today near me.
I was very pleased to see about 40 cars had been pulled in.
It is about time they get these unlawful drivers off the road.
I drove through it no problem and did not get stopped.
