Good Morning the sun is shining on The Mersey this morning it even looks blue in places ?

Good morning everyone - very warm here already 24 deg in the shade. Doing our furniture moving as soon as we have had our coffee and tea and before it gets really. The basket of ironing is looking rather big now too - OK getting the washing dry easily but it has gone from one basket to another!!

Really HOT of course that should have been!

Andie went a walk at 5.30 am while it was cool and he then came to help me collect 2 bags of rubbish from the garden as garden rubbish is being collected today.

We will be having a bit of breakfast soon and then I will do some ironing with Andie supervising,

Good morning everyone, it is the most glorious morning here in Kinross-shire. Not a cloud in the sky and it is hot.

Good morning everyone. A very cool misty morning to begin with, just the tops of the trees visible in the ancient moss a few hundred yards from my home. The sun is breaking through now and it is going to be a scorcher.

Yesterday's breeze has gone, so it's going to be hot - probably very hot. I must dust down my fans.

Cloudy at 6 a.m. but gloriously sunny now..... facing the prospect of dealing with a glut of gooseberries. The 'best' will be frozen the rest will make jelly. Some juiced ready to boil, about another 12lb to top and tail.... will do that sitting in the garden.

So hot here had to switch the Aga off yesterday.Just had poached egg on the gas bbq in the garden

Good morning from a blistering hot bonnie Kintyre. The sea is like glass; barely a ripple. The sky is almost cloudless...just a wisp of white over the peaks of Jura. Rory stretched full length under the shade of a bush. John tiddling about in the garden. I'm off to do the ironing for my pal. Enjoy the day, Gransnetters.

Wonderful blue sky here - hopefully like this for most of the country today. Just nipped out to Argos for a cheap sunbed for the garden and indeed to christen it, with a new book. Washing out on the line, salad for dinner tonight, nothing very much going to be done in my world today. Enjoy the sunshine, everyone.

Hot here too .Our black cat is sprawled out in the shade. Just been to PYO broad beans and raspberries. Will enjoy them later. After school we are taking the grandchildren swimming at Camp Mohawk ,a lovely open area near Wargrave for children with autism and other special needs and their siblings. Hope we don't get tangled up in the Henley traffic.
