Checkout assistant

Why are my posts starting to sound like Fr another poster's.

They don't (yet) as you have not mentioned money, tax or pensions.

I had one like that once - only once - and Icomplained commented (!) in an email to manager, not specifying which assistant but saying that I had always had superb service up to now, but just this once the checkout woman failed to make eye contact once, was sullen and abrupt and kept looking at her watch as clearly her shift was due to end. I got a polite (standard) reply saying they were vigilant about training etc etc but would follow up. She is still working there, more friendly and helpful so maybe it worked. Wouldn't have wanted to jeopardise her job mind you.

Good Lord. Not waitrose. Or, as I call them: The Stepford Wives shop. If you have seen the film you will know what I mean.

Well...I was in Wa..... This afternoon. I was in the quick basket queue... Its not soo quick really, you can have a shifty at the mags whilst you queue, but the checkout assistant double bagged without me asking.(I forgot my bag for life) I like that and he smiled, he's new I think. It woz hot!

Funnily enough, I have recently wondered if I was beginning to adopt the writing style of a certain other poster.
