Lovely morning here in Norwich ! Cooler and fresher at the moment. Just read in our local rag that there are no plans for a hosepipe in this area, whoopee dooooo!!!Last time that we had a hosepipe ban, the rain started the same week and it lasted all summer. On second thoughts..........a little rain would be lovely for the dry garden!! Our 6 x 40gallon butts are all empty and we don't have a very big patch!!!

Good morning everyone. A lovely walk this morning, after breakfast I am going to hang out of the bedroom window and finish trimming my pyracantha while it's still cool enough.

My sister is arriving today in Geneva, from Manchester - I think for once it might be cooler here in the mountains! It is very warm already, about 20C, and I just hope the sunshine continues next week, when we go on a river cruise in Germany.

Oh dear, Mick, sorry you feel that way but I do agree a bit. Once the hot weather ceases to be an anomaly, the novelty wears off and so the ironing must be done, even if it's in the 80's. Never happy with the weather, that's the British
