And I've got to do it again on Friday! No let up in the manic planning despite there only being three days left. At least I don't have to do it everyday now I'm only a mere supply teacher. Did 4 days with reception last week and it nearly finished me off!

It's not too hot here, just pleasantly warm but thanks for the link nanaej. As soon as I saw the thread title the song started playing in my head. I was involved with an amateur 'operatic' society for many years & Kiss me Kate was always one of my favourites. smile

storynanny every sympathy..too hot to go outside...often not enough shade, children tired at this end of term, everything sticky.. I've done it for many years!!

We should adopt Scottish school summer holidays..we could all be off on hols now!

In a classroom that is.

I've been a classroom all today with 30 hot children aged 4 and 5. It was fun, not.

I love it. DH is a winter person. Must be his Yorkshire blood.

I don't mind the heat now that i do not have to be in a classroom with 30 hot kids!

I love this weather! If I am hot I can always cool down but if I am cold - I AM COLD!!!!!!!!!

My father always said I had ice water in my veins and my DH thought my cold feet were grounds for divorce!!

Oh - but isn't it lovely! It makes me feel human again.

Merlot brew then wine

I got home from shopping (tired, hot and thirsty) to find DH slumped in front of the telly with the fan on and beer in hand. He told me he had just heard a warning not to go out unless you really had to.
I shall remind him of this in the depths of winter when they tell you not to go out unless your journey's really necessary and he's shouting at the weather forecaster, 'It's only a bit of bloody SNOW!!' hmm
