Yes it is my fault. I did not think this thread would go anything like this.

If these marriages are invalidated what should happen to my 2 daughters and 4 granddaughters?. My grandfather also married the daughter of a teacher at his school. Also there were about half a dozen children at the school I went to who married the children of teachers at the school. I don't know how many children / grandchildren has resulted from that. I am not sure how but I understand 3 of the teachers got related through the marriages as a result. I am sure similar marriages must have happened at other schools.
BalmyBentley does indeed talk out of his own * * * * . BTW 'professional' has double 's' and marriage has double 'r' something I am sure any teacher, their 'child' or the husband/wife of said child would know.
I think a teacher should be sacked if he / she allows her children to marry one of his / her pupils. All presest mariages under these circumstances should be invalidated.
They did not pay any money to find their husbands. They knew from my experience what it was like being the son / daughter in law of your teacher but they still went ahead with the marriage. I am just wondering if the same will happen with my granddaughters?.
