A cooler but sunny day here in Surrey. Am enjoying a quiet day DH and my brother both out! Will wander into town in a while to meet the DGC as there is a small fair with bouncy castle and a carousel as part of the town's Staycation events.
soop thank you for the technicolour photos. You don't do things by half my dear, do you? Hope the bruising and colour is fading and that you have got over what must have been a tremendous wallop.
I think you definitely qualify for a large now and also some
Also cool and dull here in Cheshire, and just had a light shower. Come back all is forgiven!
Looking after my two youngest dgc for a couple of hours this afternoon and as I haven't seen them for about three weeks, I'm really looking forward to seeing them. The little one, dgd nearly 2, now has a habit of standing on her little chair and shouting instructions at the top of her voice! "NANA.......SIT!"
Yes, not bad, is it, phoenix! Off to a lovely boozy lunchtime partylater, so I hope the weather holds. DD has offered to do the chauffeuring too, bless her.
Very Autumnal in the East Midlands, reinforced by the sight of the rowan berries on the tree. Next thing will be the cyclamen starting to flower [always the first sign of winter for me ].
Coolish on the north west Wales coast but then it often it this early. Hope it picks up as DD is arriving at midday for a whole week!!! So looking forward to it. DS, on the other hand, has departed this morning in a different direction to watch a footie match, a trip that for some reason involves evening entertainment and an overnight stay. Halfway to the station he realised that he'd forgotten to take shoes, without which he would not be able to get in (to the evening thing, I don't think they're that fussy at Molineux) so we had to turn round and go back for them. On our second attempt I found myself trying to keep to the speed limit while driving alongside the railtrack carrying the very train he was trying to catch! James Bond eat your heart out. He got it with seconds to spare.
Good morning everyone. Grey skies overhead and it's quite cool this morning. DS1 is coming up later with his two little boys so I am looking forward to that.
PRINTMISS Stoke museum recently had a Circus exhibition, it was very hands on for children my GD really enjoyed it. Have fun.
Bez the wedding sounds lovely I'll look forward to hearing about it tomorrow.
Good morning everyone. Cool here but due to get to 27 today. Off to our first French wedding this afternoon - a true country wedding I am told - looking forward to it. I
Morning All, weather fine, and promises of a warm week ahead - no heat-wave, thank goodness. Lazy day today, and off to Amberley Museum tomorrow where they have a special of circus fun day for the children. I like children, so will enjoy being there, that's really an excuse to go to the circus as well.
