It would be good if George would leave the room the children are in - he clearly hates them, and won't have anything to do with them. If they try to pet him he scratches or bites. But in spite of that, he insists on plonking himself down in the midst of them. I think he's guarding his territory! I'm forever chucking him out when the little ones are about, but at the first chance, he's back again! Weirdo.

My toddler grandaughters have made it their mission to get their cat to play with them. Two of them wobbling through the house shouting 'caaa-aaat!' whilst he looks for the nearst exit. grin

When the DGS's walk in the door, the cat disappears out the other one grin

Bit blustery but sunny here in North Devon. Theseus is off pounding out the miles on his bike, and I am just pootling..

George is obviously frightened of missing anything Hummingbird! Rainy here in Manchester and looks set in for the day, which in a way is a good thing, as I won't then be distracted from the housecleaning that now desperately needs to be done. Flowers that were late this year - clematis, sweet peas, cosmos - now flowering their little socks off and a really cheerful sight they are.

Grey and cloudy here on merseyside. My three little grandsons are here with us for a week, and their cousins are also comIng for the day - lovely! George, our grumpy cat, isn't happy. He glares at the children, but insists on being in the same room as them. He's already been thrown out for scratching the middle boy, but is now staring threateningly in through the French window. hmm

It's greyish here in North Leicestershire which is good, as we are having the outside painted - do you think it will stay like this for the whole 3 weeks he's here? But the garden is looking quite dry too so we could do with the rain. confused

Cloudy and grey here in the north east. Heating switched on for the third morning in a row, must be quite cool outside. Off to see the Smurfs movie this afternoon with GD1.

Good morning all, sky beginning to brighten, but a little chilly. I just cannot believe the days are flying by, it seems like only yesterday it was last Monday!

Grey weather in East Sussex but there is the cheerful chirping of two grandchildren who have come to stay for the week. Lovely.

Good morning everyone.

Grey here in North Kent too. I have cleaning to do, at least I won't be tempted to leave it and end up sitting in the garden smile
