Good morning - lovely and sunny here again already. Friends arriving this evening so looking forward to seeing them all - two lovely children coming with them - older son staying home to dog and granny sit!

Dry bright but a little chilly in East Sussex. GC little voices make me happy.

Good morning, oh what lucky ducks you are. My corner of Cheshire is chilly with light rain.

Sook Tue 13-Aug-13 08:09:21

Bez did you enjoy your French country wedding?

Bez Tue 13-Aug-13 08:29:33

That is a bit of a story Sook --- was not quite as we thought- only the family went into the Mairie and in fact had gone in about half an hour before the church time. We waited in the square till they emerged and walked to the church which was a fair size but nowhere near large enough for the congregation. Being polite we had held back not realising this and so could not get in! Lots of people outside in blazing sun and little available shade. DH had spotted the bar selling coffee in the square so guess what we did!!!!! an aunt and uncle of the bride were already sitting there with coffee. Two coffees and a glass of water later we strolled back and were standing waiting when the service finished.
The whole village had been invited to the square for a glass and nibble and then the wedding party went off to the chateaux and partied till the early hours.
We had a nice day out as had stopped for lunch in a lovely little spot and in the evening popped up to a local eatery - dressed too smartly to do any cooking!!!grin

Good morning, it's chilly and raining at the moment but I'm hoping it will clear soon as I'm meeting a friend for lunch and a mooch, and mooching is no fun when it's wet!
The village where we're going is where I lived during my teenage years, so I'm looking forward to a happy stroll down memory lane.

Slept really late this morning, wakened with a cup of tea from the other half, an event to be noted on the calendar! Lovely morning, and warm day looming I think. Your wedding sounded different Bez something to talk about. Enjoy your days

Beautiful sunny morning on the North East coast this morning. Sadly have sent the last 24 hours in hospital with my dear grandma. She has stabilised so have just dashed home for a shower and a change of clothes. What a life ! Have a good day everyone. smile

Gillybob sad

Keeps coming and going round here!! I've done a little gardening, mostly splitting some Christmas roses, so that if it rains they should be well and truly watered in. Though, if it rains, the decorator can't work. It's only day 2 and I'm fed up of having him around already.

Happy days to everyone sunshine!

Bright, fresh morning here in Cumbria.Had a couple of bacon chops for lunch, and now off out to do a bit of kerb crawling on my mobility scooter!

Dull and overcast in North Devon, a roof up day I think.

Ella46 Tue 13-Aug-13 15:26:29

Well, it poured down all through lunch time so I came home and the sun is now blazing!!!
Typical!

Today has been a good day. GDs got a new baby cousin this morning, Harrison Archie. The baby's mother had a lot of scans but didn't find out the sex so it was a complete surprise. GD1 has been knitting a pink scarf for the baby ... whoops.
