Read the memory page. Sad.
I'll always remember him as the man with the candyfloss hair!
Lovely man.

Hmmm - no texactly heraldic colours! The white and the yellow - OK they are metals, Argent and Or - but ma deer! Pink? Bluey purple? Not Pygmalion likely...

What a lovely idea for a flag - and so typical of Mick smile

I really like that!

Being fortunate to live in rural Devon, I am very aware of the colours in the hedgerows as the wild flowers come out. Snowdrops first, then daffodils (I mean the proper wild ones), bluebells, campion, stitchwort, foxgloves, vetch, the most beautiful wild honeysuckle, and dog roses. We get a lot of meadow sweet too, and the creamy plumes have such a lovely smell.

He said very shortly before his all too early death:

I've redesigned the British flag, because I don't like that Union Jack rubbish at all. I wanted something that has green, white, yellow, a bluey purple and pink. Do you know why? That's the succession of flower colours in the spring. Oh to be in England now that spring is here. I think that would be wonderful, that.

Thoughts? I love it.
