Nonu, gillybob no, we don't know the Queen so how can we possibly say how she would feel about anything? or what she thinks about anything? Except what you read in the papers etc and the journalists don't know her either!

I think whatever caused the accident, and I am only guessing that it was! an accident, let's face it if we were being chased like they were down a tunnel with all the paparazzi etc..perhaps we wouldn't be as focused on our driving..if you think of the accidents that happen when police and emergency services are responding to an incident, they too have many any accident as they are traveling so fast! and they are meant to be experienced drivers. I'm sure it would be very difficult to "stage" an accident like that and to make sure you kill! the people that you intended to, it was an horrific crash from what the general public saw of the after math, personally I really couldn't see how something like that could be staged. and like others have said..there were many other ways that either of them could have been killed,with much more certainty of the outcome.At the end of the day she was a human being that must have suffered terribly in that dreadfull crash and goodness know what was going through her mind in them minutes .

I don't dislike the queen Lilygran I don't know her.

Dodi al Fayed was most definitely a Muslim. I don't think the queen would have been able to stand the fact that that Diana ( who lets not forget was still a very young woman) could have gone on to have children, who would effectively be a half brother or sister to the second in line to the throne.

How cruel is fate to deny us the privilege of just seeing her prune face pretending that " one is happy for them" NOT.

I wouldn't have called her relationship with Hasnat Khan stable and long-lasting. I think Diana was very influenced by Jemima Goldsmith's marriage to Imran Khan and wanted the something similar for herself. Diana is supposed to have ended the relationship but I think her fling with Dodi Fayed was an attempt to get Hasnat Khan back.

FlicketyB I think he was a Hindu surgeon not a Muslim and that is why he wouldn't ask her to marry him.

Diana would have been busy living the high life somewhere hot and sunny. She would have known her limitations as an ex-royal.

I'm backing Diana in that battle all the way. There is no way in a million years she would have allowed any woman to upstage her at anything. But I agree it would have been fun to watch.

jingle, He might not have gone to St. Andrews etc. All sorts of different paths could have been taken if Diana hadn't died.

I don't see why William would not have gone to St Andrews and met Kate if Diana was alive. And I think Kate would still have turned to her mum as number one granny.

I think it's quite funny that the Gransnetters who profess not to give a flying fig for the Royal family, are the ones keeping this thread going.

I've always thought that those who believe the official version of things are the gullible ones.

I have some doubts about the deaths in which the Kennedys were involved - Mary Jo Kopechne and Marilyn Monroe. And did Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby really act alone? How fortuitous that Ruby was dying of cancer.

What could her being the mother of the second in line have to do with her marrying a muslim? She was divorced, her children were teenagers and very unlikely to change their religion for her sake and anyway she had previously been in a much more stable and long-lasting relationship with a muslim doctor. I cannot remember anyone being worried about that.

I think all these conspiracy theories, whether about the death of the Kennedy brothers, Princess Diana or any other famous person are just bosh and thought up by gullible people who spend to much time reading sensationalist literature.
