Good Morning Wednesday

Another scorcher here today, still 18 degrees now.

Grey here in the north east but not autumnal. had windows open during the night and it was a comfortable temperature. Out to lunch today with a friend, it is her birthday at the end of the week. She is still working full time so we do not get to meet as often as we would like.

Bit overcast here too. - lots to do today - friends coming this evening - have done some ironing but now having a break - will pop into Soop's kitchen. DH a bit miffed today as pool is looking a bit green despite all the care he has given it. Think it is to do with pollen from the maize growing all around us.

Changeable in North Leics - sunny then overcast.

Lovely inside though with 2 youngest DGC.

Grey and damp feeling in Cheshire, very autumnal.

Woke up in the night freezing. One window open about 3 inches - brrrh - Autumn is definitely on its way

I'm hoping for a bit of sunshine and slght breeze, so I can do some more gardening. I cleared an area of tangled laurel and brambles yesterday and this morning some blackbirds and a thrush have been enjoying a feast of the insects and snails that were left behind.

As you say, vegas, a bit overcast, but let's hope for a warm late-summer day to come. I have to get moving and go for a haircut - much needed after my lengthy holiday.

Grey and gloomy here, but hopefully will brighten up later on. Off to collect my DGS in an hour or two, so no more leisurely mornings for the next week! I do love having him to stay
