Glad to hear that all has gone well, if rather more slowly than you expected. All good wishes that your husband makes a speedy recovery and is soon home with you.

Wonderful news !

It is now 10pm and we have had a few glasses of wine. All is well, thank goodness. The operation took much longer than either I or DH expected. He was on the table for 5 hours then in recovery so it has been an extremely long day.
I have seen my DH so am much happier now.
Son, Andrew has been a great support.
Being a nurse, albeit long retired, I had all sorts of scenes running through my mind.
Thank you for all the support from you all. I can assure you all it did help.

As someone who`s husband has come through 2 major operations in less than a month, I can appreciate just how you are feeling Grandmanorm, and send my very best wishes to you and yours.
