Morning from sunny northern Ireland

Lovely day here in Dorset - we have our Air Festival at moment, the biggest of its kind in the UK. Our beloved Red Arrows amongst others and tomorrow the mighty Vulcan.
I've had one day off last week so I am shattered, but I'll be able to stagger down to the top of the cliffs and watch the fly overs

Another lovely day here, so I am off for a very long walk - perhaps not climbing quite as far as yesterday!

Yes, a lovely morning in Cheshire. The colours on some of the trees seem to be changing already. I'm going out to lunch with friends but am still missing my family, having spent four weeks with them this summer. And now that my DGD has graduated and gone to live 'down south' I miss my regular lunch dates with her. Oh what an old misery - I'm not usually like that.

I am looking out at though slid the door closed again quite quickly as it is cool out there this morning. Autumn approaching?

A lovely day here in south Manchester. Got cousin and husband from Canada here for a few days later on. Not seen them for years. They are drivng up via the Cotswolds from Gatwick, and have just phoned to say they are looking forward to staying in my 'sweet little English cottage!' Should I infer from that that I am going to have a week of being patronised? They're going to have a shock if they think it's like living in Lower Slaughter!

Lovely and sunny here this morning - off to just north of Bayonne tomorrow to stay with friends for a few days - weather forecast remains hot for the next few days.

Ok day in East Sussex. There will soon be enough Blackberries for blackberry and apple pie I noticed quite a few while walking the dog.
