Good Morning Everyone,
looks dull here in Brackley at the moment , only to items shifted by BHF as they have to resellable in there furniture stores.
Move continues bit by bit.
There are more women in anchor place than blokes.
Mick

Good morning everyone, chilly but bright here, and there is an Artisan Fair locally so tempted to visit that, but most of my intentions seem to vanish as the day wears on - must try harder! Moving is a pain in the rear Mick, but hope all goes well, and the ladies are kind to you! Enjoy your days all

Morning all. Definitely a chilly start this morning, we are in the motorhome, camping in Hereford. Rumour has it the weather will warm up later though so can soon unroll myself from the sleeping bag grin

Morning all! But dull and overcast here buy it should brighten up later.

Hope the move goes well, Mick, watch out for all those women!

Today, we are going to an antiques fair in the Derby Roundhouse which was once part of LMS Railway 'works'. I used to go there regularly with my grandfather who helped develop the first diesel engines.

DS1 is off for his first holiday since his stroke six years ago. He and his recently divorced friend are going to my brother's cottage in Flushing so I hope the weather behaves itself for them. sunshine

Bits, buys and buts got confused there. Pesky android!

Good morning everyone - misty here so far but due to brighten up a bit and then warm even in the next few days. Enjoy the weekend.

Morning all! We are in Cheltenham with our middle two DGC - two little girls of 7 and 9. Parents away doing (separate) sporty things, so we are in charge. How times change - the older one has just prepared cereal for herself and her sister, while I drink my coffee. Growing up!

Ariadne, enjoy Cheltenham and DGC. I lived there in the early 1970s such a beautiful town, especially in Autumn. X

Murky morning in North Cheshire. Flu jab time again, so I'll join the queue at the medical centre and get it over with.

annsixty Sat 21-Sept-13 09:25:51

Yes we also getting Flu jabs next week but told we cannot also have the shingles one as they are only being given to people 70 and 79!!

The sun has got his hat on here in the North East, sitting here in PJ's and have opened GN which was a mistake, need to move my self or miss the sunshine. sunshine

Bit murky here. Just finished packing. Don't know what to do with myself now!

Cloudy here too after a glorious day yesterday. Tonight I am singing in my choir in a performance which is part of the local annual two-week arts festival. Proceeds are in aid of the roof of the church where we are performing - so hope we don't raise it (!) grin

Cloudy here in Twickenham but fairly warm. I'm visiting DS and family and haven't been on GN for a week or so. You can imagine my surprise to open up this form only to find that someone has used the fword on a thread. Of course I reported it but by the time I returned to the site it had been removed. What on earth is going on? I thought this forum was for like minded grandparents to air their views, concerns etc - not to use unnecessary swear words. I always think its a lack of education and imagination to resort to swearing.

Lovely day in north east. Off to Durham for lunch with my sister before she returns to Germany.

Gorki Sat 21-Sept-13 11:42:26

Enjoy your lunch harrigran. I've only been to Durham once but absolutely loved it. smile
