Cracking day here in Norfolk, wall to wall sunshine. Lots of jobs done as we are away for extended long weekend next week. Off to North Wales, taking most of my wardrobe with me!!!!! Be prepared.......Not been to North Wales for about 40 years, it rained then and it put me off!!!!!!

It has been a lovely day in the north east. Sunny and bright and no chilly wind. DH and I have been in Northumberland for lunch. DC and GC are away for the weekend, probably on a boat to the Farne Islands, they love the outdoors.

Good morning, Heavy rain all night and until half an hour ago. DH went to the market early and had to take shelter under stallholders tarpaulin when the heavens opened. The rest of us said we'd wait till later. grin We've only had one leak in the roof so far.
I can see patches of blue sky, it looks as if the family might have a good last day of their holiday after all.

Kitty your happiness is infectious. sunshine

It's a lovely day in North Leicestershire! The sun is shining and we have a new granddaughter - it doesn't get better than that!

Hope everyone else has a lovely day too! sunshine

Dappled sunlight - so far, nice Indian summer weather.

Good morning. Dull here but I gather thunder and lightning (? Spelling) has been rolling around the Exeter area since 4am so it will be a wet wedding for my Godson I guess sad

Another good one, sun streaming in through the windows. We have friends coming from lunch so hopefully we will sit outside. Autumn can be a wonderful season when the sun shines just as good as summer in it's own way.

Good morning from a dull Dordogne - we are due for two days of storms and rain - just when you could do with having some nice Tv or a film to curl up with we have to unplug everything so they are not zapped! We have six friends coming for a 'light'lunch tomorrow - so will be cooking quiche and things today - doing everything low key and hopefully they will be more looking forward to a sociable few hours rather than a gourmet meal!! grin

Good morning all, a bit dull here again, but once more a fine day promised, the sea mist seems to be the problem. Glad you are finding your neighbours socialable, Mick, it is good to have someone to talk to occasionally, Gransnet is also a nice place to socialise, but face to face is better, I think. Not sure what we are doing today, must buy some wool for my grandsons Chrismas gift, so probably wander round the shops What Joy! Whatever you are doing everyone, enjoy your day.
