Good morning all - grey here in North Leicestershire. I've already taken DS1 to the local hospital for a blood test and have just got back in time to let in the man who is cleaning the carpets and sofas etc.

Then off to visit mum who, according to my brother, has lost her watch, her tv remote and a throw and has a sore bottom. Now, why is he telling me that

Woke up at 9am, staggered out and opened the blind and my gardener is there with mower....he used to come at 10 but he gets up early!
I mean staggered.
I came back from Oxford with 8 bags of shopping and a strimmer given me by my grandson....and was silly enough to get the whole lot in right away. I was ok over the weekend, but now the result has hit me in the back - ouch.

I've had a lot of those recently, Nellie. It's breezy this morning too.

I have set up my camera and tripod on the draining board and I am lying in wait for the group of Long Tailed Tits to descend onto the bird feeder outside my kitchen window.

Good morning, it is again an uncertain morning, each of which in the past have turned into fine afternoons. We have been collected wood for the train engines at Amberley Museum so we will be delivering that today. It is closed to the public, so we shall be able to drive right into the Museum. Good morning everyone. Dull and cloudy here in Dordogne - heavy rain during the night but slightly brighter now. Yesterday the lunch we had for friends went very well - warm enough to eat outside and although we had some rain we were all fine under our roof - best thing we ever had done here. Hope you all have productive days.

Still not sure what is happening here weatherwise yet but hoping it won't be too bad because daughter is collecting her Kawasaki 650 motorbike and I am nervous. Why could she not have chosen something smaller?
