Snap Michael.

Hope you had a better night and have fewer boxes left.

Good morning - we had a glorious day yesterday and this morning is looking good so far. I need to go and do a small amount of shopping - need some bread to keep for a couple of days to make breadcrumbs for the C*****s puddings!
Happy shopping Kitty and also planning for your busy weekend.

Good morning everyone, the weather here can't make up its mind, but rain is promised for later. We are popping to the bowls club to see if we can play a few ends, and also to distribute the fixture list for short mat which already has a large following for when we are unable to play outside. No shopping today, but a pile of ironing has crept up on me. Can't wait to tackle that. Enjoy your days everyone.

Oh boy do we have some rain forecast here in Somerset! Best to get things done early I reckon.

I'm off now LizG before the heavens open!

Misty here at the moment, but the sun is lurking and will soon burn it off. I am going to drive up to the village above the cliff that I climbed down two weeks ago and try to get a photo of it. I have found it on a website and I can't believe I actually descended several hundred feel by holding onto the steel rope bolted to the cliff face as the narrow unfenced path zig-zagged across the sheer rock. It is listed as a climb, not a walk!

I shall be walking the dog in half an hour so you should be safe until the moment I go out of the door smile

Morning all.
Lovely and sunny here. According to Carol on Breakfast our corner of Kent should escape the really bad weather. Possibly even stay dry. DH and I have to go into town for a few 'bits'.

A quiet morning here in Cheshire, but dire warnings have been issued!

We were going racing at Bangor on Dee but have pulled out due to the weather forecast [I've been telling the S.O. that for a couple of days but he's only just listened to me; I'm like a voice in the wilderness sometimes sad].

Dire warnings have come true here. Heavy rain has started and it's coming down in stair-rods. And I've got a heavy cold, so good excuse to stay in and do nothing today.

It's turning in to a nice day here, high cirrus clouds with the sun coming through. Glad I got the washing out early.

looksas if the bad weather has missed the Wrexham area, so we probably could have gone, but it wasn't worth the risk and Bangor is the only racetrack that doesn't have a grandstand so, if it rains you get wet.
