It wasn't an earthquake

I was sitting on my bed drying my hair when everything started to shake. We have had a couple of earthquakes since arriving in New Zealand so I assumed that this was another.

Wrong – it was the grandson who had had the most recent sleepover bouncing up and down on the foot of the bed to try to encourage me to hurry up and make the pancakes I had promised him for breakfast. blush

You know that scene in the first Harry Potter film? the one where fatty Dursley bangs down the stairs and the dust falls on Harry in the cubbyhole underneath? Well, it's like that, sans dust, in our downstairs loo when Minibags comes down the stairs. And she isn't even trying! grin

Absent - my daughter no longer notices the minor tremors as they happen so often!
