Good afternoon everyone, I don't know about thermals, I've had to get my summer clothes out again. Just checked the outside shade temperature and it is 31 degrees. There is a light breeze as well and it really lovely. Shame it wasn't like it when the family were here

a cool start here in Lancashire but blue sky and the sun is trying to creep out I am considering (after I have done my chores of course)!! if to get bike out and go over to garden centre to buy wires/tape etc to make buttonholes for future wedding end of November) if I do! I shall stop on route and pop into soops kitchen for a hot and see if there's any hot buttered toast going or maybe a sausage butty have a lovely and fruitful day all make the most!

Good morning to you all - glad you are sleeping better Mick, it makes such a difference if you can wake up feeling refreshed in the morning. We have a britghtish morning here, and cold weather is forecast for the next day or two - particularly tomorrow when I am due to play the first round of my Bowls Winter Competition - after yesterdays lovely weather it will be a bit of a shock, I think, (We play outdoor bowls all year, we have a special carpet, in case anyone interested!), Off to do a bit of knitting and nattering at the local library, nice little crowd we have there, and just an hour which is long enough. Enjoy your days.

Brilliant sunrise in the east, but it's all grey and overcast now. Off to do my NT volunteering later. Standing in a chilly now, darkened room - must be mad - but I love the place and get to meet so many interesting people.
