Morning all!

Lots of rain over night and more forecast today sad. Off to court today where the walk from the car park is a miserable wind tunnel of a road. And I had a little too much wine last night and have a headache - maybe Ariadne's virus grin

Dull and damp here. Long list of 'Things T Do' today. Hope I manage them all !

PRINTMISS Fri 11-Oct-13 07:55:56

Good morning, seems to be showery here, but bright. Windy too, so my bowls playing this morning should be watchable, if not precise! Enjoy your days everyone

Morning all, a dull start after a wet and windy night. Waiting in today for the young man to unfreeze my pc, so I really should do some housework!

Good morning All,
Just discovered this site, it made me realise there are a lot of people out there on their own and enjoying life.

Morning all, drab morning here in the North East but should brighten up. Hello Lazydays welcome to Gransnet smile I have got the Grandchildren to school and now having a much needed quiet cup of tea, but maybe logging on was a mistake as an hour will disappear before I know it wink

annodomini Fri 11-Oct-13 09:43:14

Not a very promising morning. I'm off to Sandhurst to see the family - longish train journey for me and my Kindle.

berdie Fri 11-Oct-13 10:04:03

anno if you are in Sandhurst again before Christmas , please let us know and we will arrange a meetup around you (presumably you will not be staying with your family until 25th this month). It would be great to meet you

Good morning everyone and welcome to berdie and Lasydays. I like your name Lasydays!

It is a nice bright and sunny morning here after a very warm night. I think it must at have been at least 14 degrees. Our inside/outside thermometer has finally given up the ghost so I'll never know. We have just ordered another one.
Despite the warm weather Autumn is here, friends are picking the olives for us and another friend has just had two of his four loads of logs delivered.

annodomini Fri 11-Oct-13 11:36:56

Certainly will, Gorki. No, I have to go home again on Monday but may well be with the Didcot family at the beginning of November - I will be in touch. It would be lovely to meet you and the others in your area.

Gorki Fri 11-Oct-13 11:44:02

I look forward to it anno.Meanwhile have a great time in Sandhurst.

Good morning every one, Its a beautiful day here, the sun is shining, the sea is twinkling, a slight chill. Long may it continue sunshine

gracesmum Fri 11-Oct-13 11:50:52

After an initially sunny few hours it is overcast and GREY again and no doubt the rain is on its way. Woken around 4 by an absolute cloudburst - all I could think was that I had put out a cheque for the milkman and changed the order as we will be in Kent all weekend and I could not remember whether the bottles (with cheque and note in) would be under cover or the cheque would be papier mache. Could I be bothered to get out of bed to see? What do you think!
Just back from a visit to Birmingham for a concert and to see DD, SIL and little boys and packing again - such activity grin
