Good Morning Sunday

We are moving into late spring and Sunday was gloriously sunny. We finished cleaning and tidying after two weeks of looking after the grandchildren during the school holidays and then I planted dwarf beans, carrots and some flowers and trimmed half the hedge along the drive while Mr absent mowed the lawns. This was followed by a glass of wine sitting on the step by the open doors at the back of the house before supper. A thoroughly delightful and satisfying day.

Oh that's sort of lovely. How is your daughter?

Just come back from Gloucester, visiting DGD and very pregnant dd. DGD cried when I went!sad it's the first time she's done that. I thought it was the iPad she didn't want to go! But dd assures me that it was me this time!
I'm feeling very touched!

Morning, grey, wet and miserable here. Staying at home today as GC are off to see Disney on ice, they love it and will be hyper by now grin

Definitely dull here! But GS' second birthday lunch will brighten us up, although OH may not be well enough to come. Central heating on!

Gloomy, drizzly and chilly! Not very nice at all.

Morning Mick! Hope you enjoyed your trip to Leicester - we were also in Leicester, which is about twelve miles away, doing some shopping yesterday.

Really wet and windy in North Leicestershire today. We are off to a wedding fair in Derby where DD3 and her partner have a stall.

Hope you all have lovely days sunshine
