Thank you to all the Gransnetters who wrote comforting messages to me when I was tearing my hair out looking after my DH after his major major surgery.
He has recovered well and I am no longer tending to his dressings. The health centre is doing that and with a bit of luck that will stop soon.
I did appreciate all the replies and it helped. Thank you.
Oh and he is now able to do the dishes (well load the dishwasher) but also tidy the kitchen. Hooray!!!
The surgery was a succes and he can now walk without having to sit every 50 yards.
