Good morning all. I haven't looked out of the window yet for the weather it was dark when I needed to get up at 6am and get an ice pack on my shoulder.
An update, i.e. a look out of my front window suggests clear sky in South Cheshire. The sun is not yet over the neighbours dreaded Leylandii at the back of the house. I have just finished reading my latest Anne Tyler library book and my cup of tea. I have no excuses now to sit here in my cosy dressing gown at nearly 8am. Yawn yawn!

Goodmorning everyone, it's a 'not sure' morning here, a bit like me! Fine weather promised, so washing on in hope. Off to the dentist later this morning. Enjoy your days everyone.

Taking DH to the station shortly, he's going to his cousin's for a few days to help do some DIY.

Morning all. It's sunny here in Cheshire and a nice day is forecast. I'm off to help my cousin clear her dad's flat as he is now in a facility for mental disorders.
Not looking forward to it but no-one helped me, and I don't want her to struggle like that.

Good morning everyone. I haven't posted for a while because I have been very caught up in family problems/illnesses which hopefully are now on the mend. My exciting news is that I now have my dachshund puppy ( a red standard called Ludwig, aka Viggy). A very good, kind and patient friend came with me to collect him from Bexhill, which is quite a drive from Manchester. We shared the driving and stayed overnight before collecting the little chap and making our way home. The journey took six hours and he coped remarkably well - better than I did! I was like the wreck of the Hesperus. He was very good last night and only cried for 30 minutes, before sleeping through until 7.30. He is definitely a little dog with a big personality! I am expecting visitors this afternoon who are all dying to meet him.

It's true, Sook, I am quite well endowed and had a mammogram a few weeks ago with no pain to speak of. Good luck.

Good morning everyone, a grey day at the moment but the sun is trying to get through and it is warm enough to dry the washing.

A bright sunny day so far here in Surrey. The sweep is busy cleaning the chimneys and then I am off to work but just had one job cancelled because of strike action (no teachers to see!) so will be home earlier than expected.

It's a lovely sunny day, which is all wrong, because today had been forcasted as being foul so it had been designated a lazy day. Now I am feeling guilty. Maybe I'll clean out the rabbit hutch and hope that the feeling goes away.

Errr, I'm not telling anyone about the bottom of my fridge.

It has been the most glorious day today - warm and sunny with hardly a breeze. Hard to believe that downpours are forecast for tomorrow!
