Good morning everyone, enjoy your day OGM and Kitty hope your friend is not feeling too low, and that her treatment will be successful. I have lots of odd jobs to do, probably won't get any of them done, but they will still be there tomorrow. The weather at the moment is not encouraging me into the garden where things are beginning to look quite sad. Enjoy your days.

Nice bright morning here, hope it lasts we have our granddaughter for the day after morning nursery, so it will be more conker gathering and a walk to the park and swings all accompanied by the usual round of contradictions and every sentence beginning with "no", all good fun, it's only once a week!

A grey day here in South Manchester, but I have loved walking through the autumn leaves this morning. Mist rising over the field where the horses were playing with their coats on. Took the dog to a different bit of our massive park and collected lots of conkers for my grandchildren and their pals. That'll keep 'em occupied for a few hours!

ffinnochio Fri 18-Oct-13 09:39:19

Morning all. Have a good meet-up Ariadne!

Your morning walk sounds very similar to mine, when (minus dog) - although the mist was clearing with a promise of glorious sunshine to follow. A good day for gardening.

Atqui Fri 18-Oct-13 10:25:09

Have a lovely time in Exeter. Hugs to all [OGM; you're on hug duty again!]. What a grey day. kitty; if ever either of us reports blue sky we'll have to jump in our respective cars and travel eastwards/westwards [like those tornado hunters in America].

Evening all. Just to let you know the mammogram was painless yesterday thank goodness for big boobies grin. I had to have an extra side x ray of my left breast as the radiographer said there was a crease? I hope that's all it is. Results in 10 days.

kitty I hope your friend enjoyed her trip out.

OGM I have sent you a PM re The Wirral.

Have an enjoyable evening everyone. wine
