Morning, everyone. I've just got down off the stepladder (decorating bedroom ceiling) to give my knees a rest It's clearing up here now so DH has gone fishing which means I'll get at least twice as much done.

I want my bedroom turned around to take advantage of a lovely view from the window but unless our antique wardrobe, which was left to me by my father - so I'll NEVER get rid of it, fits alongside a little fireplace I have no chance. I've measured about twenty times so I'm hoping it won't cause WW3 when I nag DH to move it!!

Once I have a lovely bedroom with a great view I probably won't come out until Spring!

Grey and miserable here too today. Winter drawers on!

Good idea, Charley. Curling up under the duvet with a good book (and emerging in about six months) sounds like the best plan.

It's raining cats and dogs in North Leicestershire! Already this morning I've taken DD3's dog for a walk and driven to the next village to feed their cat. I've also spent a fruitless 15 minutes, in the rain, trying to get our cat into the house to eat his breakfast. He's a big wuss!

Catching up with my admin this am, mostly phone calls, and then a trip to see Mum, if she's up.

Enjoy your days everyone. sunshine

Good morning from a grey and gloomy Surrey. But at least I can get Channel 5 and Matthew Wright here!

Wet, miserable but mild in London and the rest of the week is similar. I feel like retiring to bed for the day and my cat would love that.

Very very wet in Cheshire! Yuk!

No, not good! My gardener not coming.......greenhouse has a tarpaulin over it as we took some of the old roof off.....flapping and needs tying down! which I will have to do if there is any pause in the rain.
And the cat is very disgruntled.

Morning all, it's not good, it's coming down in buckets again!
I don't like these dark mornings either, so I'm feeling grumpy already!

Have a good day wink

Good morning from Cheshire. When I drew the curtains this morning I wished I hadn't. It's dark, miserable and wet - summed up it the good Scots word, 'dreich'.

Good morning everyone, the over-night rain has cleared, not sure what the fore-cast is, but I think we are in for a wet week Re flu injection, I do have pains after my injection (the other half does not), and I think the nurse was only saying that sometimes people might think they are having a heart attack, when in fact the pain is the result of the injection. I hope mine is the result of the injection, but more probably too much using the arm that was fractured, it still aches occasionally.
