Ariadne everyone has different ways of doing things. I think there's been too much vitriol recently and too much 'us and them'. I'd like to heed Galen's request to try for a bit more harmony and understanding, especially for those 'vulnerable' people she mentioned who need this site.

Very true, but there are plenty of people who have far more perspicacity and far greater wit. And, for that matter, who never told people to fuck off, piss off, wrote offensive insults but crossed them through, etc. I am hugely bored with the breast beating and sackcloth and ashes. No problem if she comes back – as she so often has – but right now, she has gone BECAUSE SHE CHOSE TO DO SO. Okay, I have stopped shouting now.
