What's a 'familiar'?

Next year we will have GN party(virtual) this years was cancelled. So make sure you keep that broomstick in good working order. Btw, we can't allow familiars at these parties as they always cause trouble!

Corr, I didn't expect so many replies.

You will have to forgive me, it's been a busy time, went out on 31st to discover my broomstick had been dented. Now I had been mighty fond of my broomstick, but in fairness it has been around for a while. Took it over to Merlins and he kindly gave me a sticky plaster repair just to get me through the weekend, but then of course I had to look into buying a new one (have you seen the price, and that's before insurance)!

Anyway, I actually had a quite pleasant Halloween, not too many of those pesky trick or treaters out spoiling the occassion, took part in the regular broomstick races, had a good old dance in the woods before returning home for a heart warming pumpkin soup.

Anyway, back to normal for another year.....

Hope you are managing to enjoy living in S. Warwickshire. Less hustle and bustle than W London.(an area I used to live in). Gransnet is at times an interesting, funny, infuriating, informative and caring forum. So read and enjoy. You don't have to write unless you want to, but sometimes it is very hard not to!
