Steady, there - have you taken a breath - the air might be contaminated - stop breathing!

Goodness me! Do they think we all put our raw meat into our own shopping bags? On top of the unwrapped baked egg custards.
It's that little word "could" that is the problem. How likely is it is what we need to know.

How long is shopping left in the bag, for goodness' sake? I have hemp bags and string bags and don't buy meat anyway!

I have to say Sunseeker that it made me laugh. I am nowhere near as careful as you but do reckon to wash and cook things thoroughly. Perhaps I should get a cool bag for meats hmm

I heard the same thing on local radio this morning - but isn't meat wrapped and even if you don't have a paper or plastic bag for vegetables doesn't everyone wash or peel them before using?

Just another thing to give us to worry about. I have fabric bags which I wash regularly and the insulated bag I use for cold things is also cleaned after every use.

It's a wonder we got to this age with all these ' awful ' things we've been doing.

Apparently the bags we have been buying to replace the plastic bags 'could' be dangerous to health. There could be cross contamination with raw meats and other purchases! shock wink hmm
