Oh Galen, so many mixed emotions for you. Not quite the same, but I remember when my DS was born, bursting into tears on the delivery table with thoughts of my dad who had died 4 months earlier. Be kind to yourself flowers

Galen Fri 01-Nov-13 21:55:46

Arol? Carol!

Galen Fri 01-Nov-13 21:54:08

I'm more worried about arol. But I can't help being pleased about the new DGD. Just wish my darling husband could have seen them. Been in tears this afternoon about it and Carol. Silly. But I can't help it!

Lovely news Galen. Sorry I'm late sending my congratulations, have been at work all week and although I have kept checking the threads about Carol I haven't really looked at anything else.

So many happy times to come flowers

Likewise the other two. Never thought about 'doing' it; one just was. Lucky, I suppose. I know some people don't.

thatbags Fri 01-Nov-13 20:28:23

Can't remember. I remember being impatient to get out of hosp with Minibags because I had been half way through making some apple jelly when I went into labour. Wanted to finish it. I think I was bonded with her already.

Galen Fri 01-Nov-13 20:20:32

Did we do that?

thatbags Fri 01-Nov-13 20:15:48

Bonding time, darling wink

Galen Fri 01-Nov-13 20:14:15

Galen my DGS (5 today) was born on Halloween! Sorry to say he was an absolute monster until he turned 3!

I'm sure your DGD will be an absolute angel!

Galen Fri 01-Nov-13 00:11:47

Suspect so. She was complaining of backache yesterday. Today -- silence-- I wondered. Got call tonight just after I got home! They had tried earlier. She went into hospital about 10am and she was born between three and four. That's all I know at the moment. Sil phoned me with the news. They sound happy!

grannyactivist Thu 31-Oct-13 23:34:22
